Can a 1991 Ford Escort make the drive from BC, Canada to Louisiana?

My husband and I have to drive from Vancouver Island, BC to Louisiana. Our car is a 1991 Ford Escort with a new transmission, new brakes, new tires, very good engine. Has anyone every driving that far before in an older car? With a few stops during the day to let it cool off do you think it could make it that drive? Can a 1991 Ford Escort make the drive from BC, Canada to Louisiana?Ok, It could make the drive if you prepare. Have you given your Escort a tune-up recently? If not, I would recommend it before the trip. Make sure your spare tire is in good condition. Another thing check your drive belts to see if they are getting worn out, or if they are cracked. You dont want one to snap while driving. If that all checks out fine, then you should have no trouble making your trip. Enjoy your trip! Can a 1991 Ford Escort make the drive from BC, Canada to Louisiana?
Depends on the car. I drive my 76 toyota corolla from Michigan to Arizona. that was in 1998. I would think if your car really has all that stuff new then it would easily make the drive. Can a 1991 Ford Escort make the drive from BC, Canada to Louisiana?I am not a big fan of Ford and I usually knock them but in all seriousness, it depends on mileage and maintenance or how well the car was taken care of...Can a 1991 Ford Escort make the drive from BC, Canada to Louisiana?
