Replaces the wiper/turn signal/headlight control switch located on the left side of the steering column. There are two switches available. Select the one that has a signal control arm identical to the one being replaced. If you select the wrong one, the wiring harness connection that fits into the back of the switch will not mount.Headlights on my ford explorer sport 1998 wont work unless i hold the high beam down what could that be?
Could be your low beams are burned out.

Could be you have a short at the turn signal/Highbeam switch.
