How do you replace turn signal bulbs on a 2000 Ford F150 side view mirror?

I have a 2000 Ford F150 Pickup with the optional turn signal indicator at edge of the side view mirror. The bulb has burned out and I can't figure how to get to where it is. The owners manual does not state how to get to it. NOTE: All mirrors have two upper clips. Mirrors that are not equipped with optional turn signals have two additional clips.



Access the two upper clips.

Position the mirror glass to obtain a gap at the upper edge of the mirror assembly.



Use a screwdriver or similar tool to release the two mirror cover upper clips



Remove the mirror cover.

Disconnect the signal mirror electrical connector



Remove the signal mirror bulb socket.



Remove the signal mirror bulb.



To install reverse the removal procedure



Install the mirror cover.

If equipped, connect the electrical connector.
