sombody tried to steal my car( which is a ford mondeo 01)by cutting the ream of wires which go from the drivers door into the car frame.i have rejoined all 14 wires but the electric windows (driver and passenger) will not work.cental locking etc are all working fineand i have checked the fuseswhich are ok.In a 01 ford mondeo what color is the wire which controls the windowsfrom the drivers door?OH MY GOD IT'S GONNA BLOW!!!!

Either get a Haynes manual or ask nicely at your local Ford dealership.
Don't be surprised if the wiring colour changes at various connectors like the door-to-body connector. Ford were evil like that.
