Can I put a different size tires on my Ford Explorer without hurting mileage?

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT with 23575R15 tires. What other sizes can I put on it without affecting the mileage or maybe improving gas mileage? I'm looking at snow studs as well as all weather tires. ThanksCan I put a different size tires on my Ford Explorer without hurting mileage? On a 2000 Ford Exploder - the model notorious for overheating left rear tires, blowing them out in spectacular fashion resulting in loss of vehicle control and a roll-over - I would never recommend changing the tire size. You could only make it worse. Can I put a different size tires on my Ford Explorer without hurting mileage? You can, but something has to be adjusted or your speedometer and odometer will not work properly. Wish I could remember what it is exactly that needs to be done, but a tire shop will know. My ex brother in law put bigger tires on his truck and didnt want to pay to have them done properly so those two things no longer worked like they should have. Can I put a different size tires on my Ford Explorer without hurting mileage?1 question..why would you want "other" size tires,,,
