Have either yourself or your assistant sit in the driver's seat and put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the run position but do not start it. While the key is in the ignition, the other person goes by the gas filler cap, and listens for a humming noise from the fuel pump. this will reset the fuel pump if it kicked the circuit... you may also try cycling

the ignition key several times without trying to start the truck as this will prime

the system (hopefully)... the in tank fuel pumps do not like to be ran dry due

to the heat build up and possible minor amounts of water/debris in your tank
