Managed to scratch 5-6 thin lines- some not even through the underpaint (white) and very slightly dent back wheel arch- on a ford fiesta (metallic painted). Been told it will cost 拢598 (taking 11 hours to repair). I feel i am being conned...what does anyone think? Without actually seeing the car it is not possible to give you a precise figure but i would imagine i could make the damaged area look like new for less than 拢300.

Got a similar scratch on my swift sport....dont know how it happened.....i car park i think :(
I have got most of the scratches out with some T-Cut scratch removal paste and the dents, I'll try a small suction pad to pull them out......I also think your being conned for that amount of cash!

it does sound a bit expensive,but without seeing the damage its hard to say for sure.From what you have described i would say 拢300to 拢400 .i would get a few more quotes and see how they compare before you go ahead.How much to repair a scratch on ford fiesta?they seem to have you buy the balls, had a rear arch and quarter repaired on a new punto cost was 拢400 with warantee.
