How to get to the spark plugs on 2001 Ford Explorer?

I want to know how to get to one of the spark plugs on the left back of a 2001 ford explorer. I can see it but it's so close to the compressor I'm wondering if I have to take out the compressor to get to it.How to get to the spark plugs on 2001 Ford Explorer?Do you have a 4.0L 6 cylinder? If so, some of the plugs can be accessed easier thru the fender well. Remove the front tires, then you can pull off the shield (rubber piece) that lays over the top of the upper control arm. You should be able to get at some of the plugs thru there.How to get to the spark plugs on 2001 Ford Explorer?you might have to unless you can get a swivel on the plug.
