Can i Change my 26 gallon fuel tank to a 36 gallon from another ford truck similiar to mine?

2009 Xlt w/26gal tank wants to upgrade to the Bigger 36 gallon that comes on the Ford Lariet.Can i Change my 26 gallon fuel tank to a 36 gallon from another ford truck similiar to mine?If it fits, but you'll need to use the mounting straps from the larger tank, and the fuel gage sending unit, too.
