Swollen right knee for several months now?

ok so im in high school, but everyone says im too young for knee problems. i play competitive soccer %26amp; i had a knee injury in december playing indoor soccer. i was slammed up against the wall %26amp; the impact just bruised everything under my knee. so i went through physical therapy %26amp; it got better. but gradually this season i felt pain coming back on the side of my knee %26amp; under my knee cap. my knee has stayed swollen since the first injury. i had a cortisone shot bout a month ago %26amp; that didnt help. the area its swollen @ is to the left of my knee cap %26amp; above it. it doesnt hurt all the time but biking and running hurts it. sometimes i lay in bed and my whole knee aches so bad i feel like crying. the pain feels like its under my knee cap to %26amp; when i bend my leg it pops %26amp; crackles.i need to get my game back. any help?Swollen right knee for several months now?
Sounds like your knee bone is bruised.... and sounds like some tissue damage.... It will heal very slowly. The worst thing you can do though is stop moving it. , so keep it going. Do ROM excercises every day and stretching everyday, you might want to try some hot/cold compresses to to minimize the swelling and give it a chance to heal. 15 min hot, 15cold.Swollen right knee for several months now?
my knees are always geting messed up and i am a dancer. What i do is i ice it, then use a heating pad. I also sometimes sleep with an icy hot patch on. When you are doing soccor i suggesst you use a knee brace, you can get them at a local drugstore. But i would also see a doctor just to be sure its nothing serious.Swollen right knee for several months now?
I think you should go to the doctors and tell them how things are feeling in your knee and nothing is changeing and get a referal to a place that studys knees so a higher place and get it fixed dont stand on it it will only make it worse.
Go see your doctor and get a referal to an orthopedic surgeon. Have them do a MRI and make sure everything is ok.
