What's wrong with my knee?!?

So in november 2010, I got hit in the back of the knee during a soccer game and when I fell I felt and heard a popping sound. And I coould barely walk but I made it out of the game. my coach didn't think I was hurt, so he sent me back into the game. And when I tried to pivot, my knee buckled and coach said it looked like an acl tear. I went to the doctor after and he said it was just a strain. So I started practice at school in a week or so, not going full out just testing it. And everytime I tried to run fast or change motion in my leg, there would be this extremely sharp pain thatd last a few minutes and I'd fall to the ground. The pain would go down, but it'd throb. It swelled some, but not like an acl tear would. This happened at least 4 times so I went back to the doctor, got an MRI Which got the results of a slight acl tear. However, the doctor disagreed but I went to physical therapy. Then I had to stop therapy because of insurance stuff, and I went to the doctor a few weeks later. The trainer at school said it might be a meniscus tear. I got another MRI which said nothing was wrong. But the doctor ordered me an acl brace. The swelling has not gone down. It's on the outside of my left knee and below my knee cap. My knee gives out, wiggles, pops, and buckles quite a bit. The pain is now a really bad throbbing feeling mainly on the outside of my knee, and below my knee cap. I just want everything better! This has been going on for like 5 months or so and I can't Stand it!! Does anyone have suggestions as to what could be wrong?! And I'm 15 years old if that takes anything into consideration. What's wrong with my knee?!?
he stability of the knee is provided by the ligaments that connect the shin bone (tibia) to the thigh bone (femur). When the ligaments are stretched or torn, the knee may feel as though it is giving way beneath the patient. A sensation that the knee may give out from beneath you is a common symptom of ligament injury.
