What is the best year for the Ford Explorer?

I am looking at buying a Ford Explorer between 2003-2006. Are there any differences in the different years of manufacturing? What is the best year for the Ford Explorer?Mainly except for the styling and appearance? No, not really. a few more horsepower was added throughout the years. I'd recommend a 2004 in terms to reliability, because that is when they had a huge spurt of sales. That year, the trims were upgraded and the engine became more powerful. According to design, I'd go with the 2006, though. That one looks better than the other ones. What is the best year for the Ford Explorer?
why would you want to buy an SUV when gas is so expensive?! you make baby Jesus cryWhat is the best year for the Ford Explorer?usually newer is better...go to service dept of ford dealer...ask for a printout of recall and service bulletins for what year ur looking at...get mechanic to look at car your buying...Not dealership or person selling it to u..What is the best year for the Ford Explorer?
before you buy, check the TSB's (technical service bulletins). don't allow the sheer numbers of TSB's to scare you running, but read the major ones, especially those related to the drivetrain and safety features. also, be sure to check for recalls by using the vehicle's vin (vehicle id #).What is the best year for the Ford Explorer?2006 is the best. it is the same as the 2007 and both recieved the best quality ratings out of all the Explorers. If price is a matter, then 2005's should do you pretty good too. I would suggest a 2006 though.
