Fallout 3 some questions?

hi all, got fallout 3 yesterday ... I LOVE IT amazing game so iv just got a few questions



1.is it game pretty long ? like is there alottt to do in it?

2.where can i find a dog? and is there only 1 and if so can he be killed by other monsters and bandits and such?

3. is it worth playing over again once youve completed it? will items and the story change? i know the main story of your father wont but will the game play out different or will i follow the same track



atm iv become very evil as i tryed to kill the sheriffs son and ended up killing a good 12 people in megaton as they wouldnt stop shooting me and hitting me with knives lol so i had to pop a cap in there ***

In my opinion is it a long game, only because I tend to veer off the main story a lot and explore. You are correct that the main story will not change, but there are different side quests you can do(some good, some evil, some neutral). Plus social interactions can be different given what actions you take beforehand.



Yes there is one dog that can follow you around, fight with you, and even search bodies for you... and yes it can be killed.



Just when you think you are getting bored with the game, you can then download a number of different mods that will expand the game life.



I personally have gone through the main story once, now I'm trying out different quests/weapons/companions that I have downloaded. Also, I'm trying out modding myself.
1. yes its long and map is big about 100 hours

2.in the begging and yes he can be killed but revived and no you cant change him

3.yes the DLC makes the game worth having it and story can be change the way you goFallout 3 some questions?
go north of minesfield to the power station then head north again and in a valley you will find the alien blaster!!!!!!!! awesome gun kills anything!
If you do nothing but the main quest you can complete it relatively fast. But with all the side quests and all the exploring you will end up doing, you will definitely get your money's worth out of it. Plus there are three expansions out for it now that are all fun, and will further add to your hours of game play and areas to explore as well as new quests and weapons.



If you killed the one shop keeper in Megaton, the woman in Craterside Supply, you will miss out on all the side quests she offers you.Fallout 3 some questions?
1) Yup the game is pretty long. If you take your time it can take hours and hours. But if you rush through the story line you'd still get a good 6-7 hours from it.

2) You can find a dog (Dogmeat) at the Scrapyard near Germantown, in the middle of the map. Yes Dogmeat can be killed so you need to keep a close eye on his health and give him stimpacks when he is injured.

3) The game has endless replay value, every time you do it something is a little different and due to all the DLCs coming out it's only getting better.

4) Being Bad just means you can get people with bad karma to follow you as well as being a frightening person. I tried good bad and neutral and I prefer neutral over all.
