I have VMWare Fusion and everything works great...I have a 24" iMac and everything is running good. I put my virtual machine on 'Full Screen' and it completely fills the whole 24" screen with Windows...which is kind of cool.
Except when I download games from Real Arcade or Pop Cap Games...etc. I can play the game in a small window but when I choose 'Full Screen' on the game...everything just goes black (but with the cursor still there) and you can hear the sound of the game...but just no video.
Why can't I choose 'Full Screen' on games with VMWare Fusion without everything going black?
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks!VMWare Fusion and Playing Games on my Mac?
Try to increase the video memory allocated to your Windows environment. It might happen if you're allocating (for example) 64 Mb and it requires 128 Mb.
I'm a Parallels user (competition to Fusion) and I'm using version 3. I know that version 4 supports better video drivers. Your Fusion version might have the same problem: maybe you'd need to update your version (or upgrade to Parallels) for the video drivers and memory to be allocated correctly.
Good luck!
