The new Final Fantasy Online game comes out next years and Im trying to find a game that will keep me busy til then. I dont care if its monthly payments or free. I just want a fun addicting game that will keep me preoccupied.
Ive done tons of research and looking around for answers to my question but figured asking myself would give me a better peace of mind.
So the games Ive played are:
1) WOW (kind of bored of it now)
2) GuildWars (played the core but not the expansions when it first came out. Is a fun game but the lvl20 cap kind of pushed me away.
3)Runescape (played this years ago as well. was one of the first moderators when first introducted. fun game but looking for something else)
4)Aion (fun game too. the flying limit pushed me away abit)
5) Everquest 1 and 2 (fun games but seem to lose interest in it while playing for some reason. Guess sometimes i feel like im the only one in the World.)
One thing I aim for is POPULATION. sometimes i wish more games had the pop WOW does. i keep my fingers crossed everyday for that to happen.
Second thing is SOLO-FRIENDLY. i expect a long wait time for groups which isnt a problem. but dont want to wait a lifetime to find a group which is required for a quest either. Im a patient person.
Ive notice the present Final Fantasy online game has a all-in-one deal for 20 bucks. I been debating whether to get it or not. i guess im just scared that playing it will make me lose interest in it short term and make me think otherwise on getting the new one.
But please help me decide on a game. im wasting enough time as it is ha.Ok Gamers, Please help me decide on what to play.?
I have dropped out of WoW completely to play Aion. Aion beats WoW in every way that is important to me; game mechanics, looks, story, systems and a lot more.
I played WoW since classic up to Wrath and when Aion came out I just dropped it and walked away. I am stuck on Aion and I cannot see myself leaving anytime soon.Ok Gamers, Please help me decide on what to play.?
Dungeons and Dragons Online is now free, and you can upgrade to member benefits, I don't know how the population fares lately, but when I played a couple months ago it seemed decent and the fighting areas are all instances so you don't have to really have to worry about competition if it gets too crowded. For me, it felt like an entirely new experience from the other MMO's out there, you should try it, and if you don't like it, well it's a good thing you didn't pay for it.
I see you didn't list Lord of the Rings online, it seems pretty generic to me, but fans of the series will enjoy the storytelling of it and the strictness it follows to the mythology. It has decent free trial, so you could try it.
For a newer MMO experience, you can play Fallen Earth (I have never played it, but the environment and world seem interesting), or Champions Online (Basically upgraded graphics of City of Heroes).
I'm not sure, so don't take my word on it, but I believe Star Wars: The Old Republic is coming out soon, and apparently people say that's the game that is going to rival WoW (but what unreleased MMO didn't say the same thing. )
